I definitely agree with you on your opinion of the piece--your vector work has come a long way both in terms of technical ability and personal style. The mechanics are exquisite--there is not a line, shadow, or highlight out of place. The netting of the net is masterfully executed and is unmistakably an object of spidery depth and not a mess of lines. The shading of the metal hoop of the net is also excellent--metal reflects and refracts the light in such a way that does not create single highlights and shadows, and you have captured this perfectly. The creases in her pants and the details of her socks and shoes are beautiful as well, not to mention that wonderful hair…!

Having exhausted the virtues of your technique, I want to say a few words about your style. The style is very unique and is very fresh in its approach. While it is easy to botch up a style of exaggerated features, you have mastered it wonderfully, making your work stand out from the crowd of anime/manga-derived styles (with all due respect to the aforementioned styles). The oversize head and hair are the focal point of the character, but the partially open left hand also is very aesthetically pleasing. The curves of her T-shirt are well executed and enhance the elements of her head and hands.

I know I have spent this entire critique dwelling upon the technical and stylistic merits of the piece, but as hard as I look, I can't find anything that wants improvement. Good job. That doesn't happen often.
